Integrated Groundnut Farmers Association of Nigeria

Our mission at IGFAN is to help Nigeria realize its full potential as a major groundnut producing nation. In the 1970s, groundnut was a major cash crop produced in the Northern part of the country, however its production started to decline in the 1980s as a result of several factors including neglect of the agriculture sector due to oil production, drought, diseases etc. IGFAN aims to reverse this story by ensuring that groundnut and groundnut products take their rightful place as an import export product for Nigeria.
